PURPOSE:To eliminate the need of forcibly curving wire spokes, facilitate the attachment work of the wire spokes and free of any possibility of damaging the inwall face of a rim. CONSTITUTION:Before nipples are fixedly tightened, the distance C between both ends of wire spokes 3 and 4 each, the distance D between the open ends of nipple holes 9 and 10 each which are made on a rim 2, and the distance E between the opposed end parts of nipples 7 and 8 each which are engaged in the nipple holes 9 and 10, respectively have the relation of E<C<D. When the wire spokes 3 and 4 are joined to the rim, there is no need of forcibly shortening the wire spoke by curving and the threaded parts, namely, the end parts of the wire spoke may be readily screwed into the nipples 7 and 8 through the nipple holes 9 and 10. The wire spoke may be tightened to fix using the nipples without any possibility that the ends of the wire spoke will scratch the inwall face of the rim 2. |
