<p>PURPOSE:To make gas bubbles formed on a shelf fine by providing a shelf, having a multiple opened holes part on the side wall surface of a rugged plate surface and having no holes on the apex and bottom surfaces of the rugged part in the gas treatment region and bringing a gas into contact with a liquid countercurrently. CONSTITUTION:In the gas-liquid contact treatment, >=1 shelf for treatment, consisting of a rugged plate having a rugged form and having multiple opened holes but no opened holes on the apex and side surface of the rugged part of the rugged plate, is housed. The gas phase is brought into contact with the liquid countercurrently by overflowing the liquid phase from the recessed part of the shelf through the opened holes. The shelf for gas-liquid contact treatment is a plate and possesses a rugged form having rugged parts and a multiple opened holes part. The height of the rugged part is regulated to the 30-150mm. range, and the opening rate of the side and wall surfaces alone is regulated to >=20% and <=80%. The folded plate form having multiple opened holes, shown in the figure, is preferable.</p> |
