<p>PURPOSE:To desorb ozone without using a pump having an excessively large capacity by evacuating and sucking the ozone adsorbed in an adsorption and desorption column by means of an ejector which operates on the oxygen from an oxygen supplying source as a driving fluid in the stage of desorption. CONSTITUTION:When an operation for adsorbing ozone ends and an operation for desorbing the ozone is started, solenoid valves 16 and 5c are opened and the ozygen from an oxygen supplying device 4 regulated to a prescribed pressure by a pressure controller 15 is fed to an oxygen ejector 14 to drive the ejector 14, by which the ozone in an adsorption and desorption column 2 is evacuated, sucked and desorbed. The ozone desorbed from the column 2 is mixed with the oxygen which is a driving fluid to form ozonized oxygen. The ozonized oxygen is fed to an air diffuser 17 where the oxygen is injected as fine foam and dissolved in cooling water 11. The pressure necessary for forming the ozonized oxygen to fine foam by the air diffuser 17 is satisfactory if said pressure is higher by about 0.5atm than the pressure in the cooling water pipe 11.</p> |
