PURPOSE:To restrain an increase in the weight of an outrigger, by slidably fitting a short cylinder in a hollow beam which is guided by a guide member and is projected out laterally of a vehicle body, and as well by attaching a telescopic support leg to the short cylinder. CONSTITUTION:When a hydraulic cylinder 14 is extended in order to project out an outrigger, a hollow beam 1 is at first pushed out from a short cylinder 4 since the slide-frictional resistance of the short cylinder 4 with respect to the hollow beam 1 is less than that of the hollow beam 1 with respect a guide member 2. When the short cylinder 4 abuts against a stopper 13 in the hollow beam 1, the hollow beam 1 is then pushed out from the guide member 2. Further, when the hollow beam 1 is pushed out to its maximum projecting position, the telescopic axis of a telescopic support leg 3 is positioned at the front end of the hollow beam 1. Therefore, the perpendicular load of a vehicle and loaded cargos is directly transmitted to the telescopic support leg 3 from the front end of the hollow beam 1 through the bottom of the short cylinder 4, thereby no bending moment is brought about between the hollow beam 1 and the short cylinder 4. |
