PURPOSE:To prevent both spike pins and road face from wear by planting the spike pins on a resilient band ring with the tops thereof projected a trifle and engaging the resilient band ring in the circumferential annular groove which is made on the grounding part of a tyre. CONSTITUTION:An annular groove 2 is continuously made on the grounding part of a tyre 1 in the circumferential direction thereof. A resilient band ring 3 is fitted in the annular groove 2. Spike pins 4 are planted in the resilient band ring 3 in such a manner that the tops each are projected a little higher than the grounding face of the tyre. Since the spike pins 4 are made projected and retracted therefrom by the potential resilient force of the resilient band ring 3, the spike pins do not include any possibility of damaging the face, if the tyre runs on a hard road face. |
