PURPOSE:To prevent liquid particles in exhaust gas from scattering by a structure wherein a downward outlet, which is open downwards just before the tail outlet of the outlet pipe of an exhaust muffler, and a baffle plate, which rises between the downward outlet and the tail outlet to the height so as to leave a small passage between the outlet pipe and the tip of the baffle plate, are provided. CONSTITUTION:A diffuser pipe 4 is provided at the tail end of an exhaust muffler 2 for motor cycle. An outlet pipe 5, which is formed of elastic material such as rubber or the like, is fittingly installed at the protruded end of the diffuser pipe 4. The outlet pipe 5 has a tail outlet 6 and a downward outlet 7, which is bored on the bottom wall of the outlet pipe 5 and along the periphery of which a downward protruding lip 8 is formed. Furthermore, a forwardly inclined baffle plate 10 is formed integral with the outlet pipe 5 by rising between both the outlets 6 and 7 to the height so as to leave a small passage 9 between the upper wall of the outlet pipe 5 and the tip of the baffle plate 10. |
