PURPOSE:To eliminate the deposition of dust or the like by providing a openable meter hood to keep it closed during the parking time. CONSTITUTION:When a car is parked, a steering shaft 5 is pressed on a microswitch 9 by springing a hinge 10 up to a shaft to turn ON the power source and a motor 8 is rotated forward. A meter hood 2 is closed from the opening with the rotation of a rotating shaft 11 and flushes an instrumentation panel 1 so that the meter body 4 is covered with the meter hood 2 to prevent dust from depositing. The meter hood 2 is made of a synthetic resin or the like. |
