Automatic photographic processing system - accepts batches of disc films on spindle in carrier frame rotated by LV motor for developing, fixing and drying

Batches of disc films are mounted on a spindle in a carrier frame, where they can be rotated by a l.v. motor. The carriers are hooked onto notched rails which are moved along a frame by a system of chains and pulleys, driven by a motor on top of the frame. As the carriers move along, they are lowered into a sequence of washing and processing tanks for preset times and then lowered into a drying cabinet. Additional notched rails, mounted along the tops of the tanks supply current to the carrier motors only when the carriers are fully immersed.
