PURPOSE:To measure the speed of a granular body accurately even when a phase mixed flow of a solid and vapor changes a flow direction by using illumination and photodetection fiber groups arraying element wires. CONSTITUTION:Optical fibers 1 and 2, and 1' and 3 for illumination and photodetection are each formed of a group of arrayed optical fiber element wires, and even when the solid-vapor mixed phase flow F changes in the flow direction, the reflected light from granular body C is photodetected by the fibers 2 and 3. Therefore, the granular body speed is measured accurately at any time. |
