<p>PURPOSE:To enable the slip angle of both an inner and an outer wheel to be zero by shifting the connecting point of a pair of tie-rods on the surface of an arm plate while each of the length of knuckle arms is made different simultaneously. CONSTITUTION:A pivot axis 12a which supports rotatably one end of No.1 tie-rod 13a, is provided at a position which is at a distance of r1 from a point B that connects a steering shaft 6 with an arm plate 11, and a pivot axis 12b which supports rotatably one end of No.2 tie-rod 13b, is provided at a position which is at a distance of r2 from the said connecting point B. In addition, the effective length of knuckle arms 14a and 14b, that is, the length R1 and R2 (R1<R2) between each of pivot axes 15a and 15b and each of king pins 17a and 17b respectively, is set suitably in accordance with a ratio between r1 and r2 (r1<r2).</p> |
