Process for the preparation of isocyanate esters

Isocyanate esters of the formula R-(NCO)n are prepared from amines of the formula R-(NH2)n at pressures of 0.2.10<5> - 202.6.10<5> Pa and temperatures from -40 DEG C to +300 DEG C, if appropriate in the presence of solvents and/or catalysts. The amines are reacted with a compound which is metered into the reaction mixture in the liquid aggregate state, of the general formula or with any desired mixtures of these compounds. The symbols in the formulae have the meaning indicated in Claim 1.
