In this device, the rotary movement of a drive shaft (3) is transmitted to an output shaft (9) by means of a simple gear mechanism lying in one plane, the torque amplification being dependent upon the transmission ratio. The gear (4) connected to the drive shaft (3) in such a way as to be fixed in terms of rotation is in mesh with the gears (7, 8). The latter in turn transmit their rotary movement to a gear (6) which transmits its torque to an internal gear rim (5) which sits on the output shaft (9) in such a way as to be fixed in terms of rotation. Like the gear (6), the gears (7, 8) are rotatably mounted in the housing (1), the axial guidance in one direction being assumed by the shoulder of the output shaft (9). A further special feature consists in the bearing arrangement of the drive shaft and output shaft, which are not only fixed by the housing (1) and the housing cover (2) but are also mutually guided. The end of the output shaft is of square design, which enables a socket (10), for example, to be accommodated. To absorb a reaction moment, a supporting holder (11) is attached which can be adjusted over a wide range, is of favourable gripping configuration for better manipulation and has a coaxial bore at its free end, which results in an additional effective area. <IMAGE> |
