PURPOSE:To improve operability and to enable saving of energy, by a method wherein covering of a rush, rattan, etc., being different in quality from a surface, is applied on the back of an electric carpet body. CONSTITUTION:Covering 7 of a rush, rattan, etc., being different in quality from a surface is applied on the back of a carpet body 1 through the medium of an adhesive 6. In this constitution, during summer season, the carpet 1 is turned over for use to form a carpet made of a rush, and operability is improved. Further, the covering 7 gives a heat insulating effect to prevent the occurrence of heat loss when it is used as the electric carpet, resulting in saving of energy. |
