PURPOSE:To enable a resin material to be melted in a short period of time, by providing in an injection cylinder an injection plunger for injecting a melted resin, and utilizing an infrared heater for melting the resin material. CONSTITUTION:A resin material in a hopper 20 is transmitted into a glass tubular cylinder 8 by rotating a feeding blade 18 by a motor 19. Thereafter, the resin material is heated and melted by infrared lamps and by opening a change- over valve 16 in a connecting block 14 the melted resin is transferred into an injection cylinder 15. Then by closing the change-over valve 16 and moving forward a plunger 17 of the injection cylinder 15, the melted resin is passed through a nozzle 12 to be injected. Thus since the resin material is melted by using the infrared lamps outside of the glass tubular cylinder 8, the period for melting the resin material is short and breaking of wire of the lamps occur less. Further, as the injection cylinder 15 and the raw material melting cylinder are provided separately, a high injection pressure would not be exerted on the glass tube, and high reliability with respect to the strength can be secured. |
