PROJECTION TYPE CATHODE RAY TUBE

摘要

PURPOSE:To obtain a cathode ray tube from which a chromatic aberration is removed and has a high resolution by mixing a coloring material with a liquid sealed between the screen of the cathode ray tube and a projecting lens. CONSTITUTION:A coloring material is mixed with a liquid mixture 5 composed of ethylene glycol and water to provide such spectral transmittance as shown in the figure. The spurious part in the spectral characteristic of a fluorescent substance is thus absorbed and only the main wavelength is transmitted, by which the chromatic aberration is considerably improved.
