Safety belt for child-safety systems to be used in vehicles, which comprises a safety belt (1) folded round a securing strap (4) and having a catch tongue (12) and a snap fastening (11) and a second safety belt (2) folded round a securing strap (4) and having two snap fastenings (21, 22), the catch tongue (12) of one belt (1), engaged into a snap fastening (21 or 22), forms a mechanically stable unit and the two remaining snap fastenings (11, 22 or 21) being engageable into catch tongues (31) of an object located in front of the body of the child to be safeguarded, in such a way that a belt formed from two loops starting from the securing straps (4) is provided, whilst the object located in front of the child to be safeguarded can be a short belt intermediate piece (3) having catch tongues (31) secured to its two ends. <IMAGE>
