<p>On a ball racket, for example a tennis racket, the handle is hollow. A gas cartridge whose emptying cap can be pierced by a tip on insertion can be inserted in the handle. As a result of this, the cavity is filled with pressurized gas. The handle has a venting orifice which is sealed relative to the cavity by a valve. On actuation of the valve the gas flows out of the venting orifice and is used for elimination of sweat on the hand of the player.</p> |
