The dismantleable filter cartridge includes a filter support 2 on which two caps 14, 15 can be mounted. A filter 10 is composed of a corrugated metal mesh 23 of rectangular shape which is rolled and arranged in the interior of a casing 11. It is centered and held tight by the two caps 14, 15 on the filter support 2. The caps 14, 15 each have a recess 19 and a centering attachment 17 concentric thereto. The arrangement is tensioned by a nut which is screwed onto a threaded bolt 6. The filter cartridge is used in devices for cleaning lubricating oils. <IMAGE>
