PURPOSE:To improve the reliability by providing an exhaust checking structure having a gap communicating spacially to the exhaust port between a rubber valve and a valve seat thereby preventing inflation of battery jar due to inner pressure rise and deterioration of performance due to insufficient checking. CONSTITUTION:Step is provided on the contacting faces of one or both of a rubber valve 2 and a valve seat 1 to be mounted over an exhaust port 4 to provide a gap 3 coupled spacially with said port 4 between the valve seat 1 and rubber valve 2. Consequently the valve opening force is increased considerably to respond accurately to small variation of cell inner pressure. |
