PURPOSE:To obtain a rail shifting mechanism which can hold a recording disk despite a large size of a turntable by providing a link nearly at the center between both ends of a rail and shifting the rail in parallel with revolution of a spiral cam. CONSTITUTION:A protection case is inserted to the inside of a rail 15 along this rail, and an inner case and a recording disk are held on the rail 15 by a chuck mechanism, if said case reaches to the bottom of the rail 15. When the protection case is pulled out, a motor 26 revolves to turn a cam gear 23 toward an arrow A. Then a shaft 22 moves toward an arrow B along a spiral groove 24, and therefore a shaft 19 unified with the shaft 22 is moved toward an arrow C along a slit 20. Thus the rail 15 moves down in parallel and can put the disk on a turntable 28 when the rail reaches the place lower than the surface of the table 28. Then the motor 6 is reversed after reproduction to reverse the above- mentioned processes. Thus the rail 15 can be moved upward. |
