PURPOSE:To avoid a misoperation due to the operation of an unnecessary key as well as the needless print to a receipt, etc. by storing the prescribed contents to the store area of a descriptor corresponding to a prescribed key. CONSTITUTION:The contents corresponding to an operation key are stored in a store area of a descriptor 14 of an RAM 3. Then the contents of the descriptor 14 are printed by a printer 5 in accordance with operation of keys and also displayed to a display device 4. For instance, a department key is operated to print and display the contents (department) of an area 14a. While the contents (cash) of an area 14b are printed and displayed with operation of a cash key. In this case, a user who needs no function of a credit sale key stores previously a space code in an area 14c. Thus the credit sale key is disabled. In other words, a misoperation is displayed when the credit sale key is operated by mistake. Then the subsequent operations are inhibited. This avoid a misoperation due to the operation of an unnecessary key as well as the operation of a needless print. |
