<p>PURPOSE:To form an exclusive display part with use of the component parts of an optical reader by impressing electric signals to a reading window or a display window from a polarization control circuit to produce a character pattern. CONSTITUTION:When a position detector 19 detects an object to be read, the light is irradiated to a reading window in response to a scan pattern via a laser generator 1, a polarization control circuit 13, etc. The reflected light of the reading window is sent to a light converter 12 and then to a recognition control circuit 21 via a reading control circuit 20 to be discriminated whether the reflected light can be recognized or not. When the read data is recognized, this data is set to an A register of the circuit 13. Then a character pattern is read out in accordance with the contents of the A register. Thus the prescribed electric signals are produced via X.Y polarizing circuits 17, 18, etc. As a result, a character pattern is formed at the reading window and the read data is displayed. Thus it is possible to form an exclusive display part by making use of the component parts of an optical reader.</p> |
