PURPOSE:To attain the fully automatic loading/unloading system of a magnetic disk by controlling an automatic loading/unloading device for magnetic disk with a host side device which controls a magnetic disk device. CONSTITUTION:An ejection signal generating circuit 100 closes an ejection switch 101 or supplies an ejection signal of a low level to an input terminal 111 to obtain an ejection mechanism driving signal at an output terminal 102. The ejection signal is transmitted from the side of a host system 300 via a connection cable 301. An ejection signal line 205 is provided into the cable 301. As a result, the circuit 100 can also be controlled with the ejection signal sent from the system 300. In other words, the operation of a magnetic disk device is carried out as conventional. Thus the magnetic disk device in operated as conventional with the operation of the switch 101 or an operation carried out from the side of the system 300. Therefore the magnetic disk can be automatically ejected by means of the software at the host side. |
