<p>PURPOSE:To render a cassette cover usable as a manual insertion paper feed stand by installing guide members extending so as to cover separating claws on the cassette cover. CONSTITUTION:Guide members 95 extending on the upper side of separating claws are bonded with double adhesive tapes 96 to both sides of the free ends of a cassette cover 72 usable as a manual paper feed stand 15. The members 95 made of elastic thin films, such as ''Mylar film'', can cover the upside of the claws 70 when they come to the positions of the legal sizes: A4 and B4, and slits 97 are formed toward a paper feed direction to make the pressing force on the paper P constant. Guide plates 85 are set slidably on slits 87 on the manual paper feed guide face 83. A case 72 has the window 82 for viewing the paper. The plates 85 are moved at the same time through racks 90 and a pinion 92.</p> |
