PURPOSE:To provide the titled rust preventive with fast curing rate, yielding cured films excellent in adhesion to metals, by incorporating a particular compd. free from (meth)acryloyl groups with a radiation curable unsatd. compd. having (meth)acryloyl groups. CONSTITUTION:100pts.wt. compd. having one or more (meth)acryloyl groups, per molecule, capable of reacting by radiation (component A) is incorporated with 20-80pts.wt. compd. free from (meth)acryloyl groups, having an acid value of 30-250 and a softening point of 50-150 deg.C, synthesized from carboxylic acid component, alcohol component and/or epoxy component (component B). Radiation-curable compds. such as polyester (meth)acrylates, or epoxy (meth)acrylates may be used as component A and, if necessary, reactive diluents contg. (meth) acryloyl groups can be added to polyfunctional oligomers.
