PURPOSE:To generate no area where charge cannot be eliminated by an exposure of an auxiliary light in an unimaged part by catching an illuminating light source at the time of rise of an auxiliary light source for eliminating the charge of the unimaged part, and executing a blank exposure. CONSTITUTION:A-D denote a timing of an illuminating light source 2, an auxiliary light source of an auxiliary light source device 12, a main charged part and a copying switch. A pulse is generated (time t1) by the copying switch, B and C become on, a photosensitive drum 9 starts its rotation, and B continue on state until an exposure time t2 of an original image part. At the time t2, B turns off, and A turns on. In this state, an original starts an exposure to the drum 9 by an optical system. When the lamp 2 reaches a stop position Q (t3), B becomes on again, but the illuminating lamp executes a blank exposure (blind exposure) by a delay time portion of rise of B. At the time t4 after the delay time of rise of B elapses, A ends the blank exposure and becomes off. |
