PURPOSE:To permit slidable fitting between an intake/exhaust valve and a valve seat during engine operation by forming an abrasive feeding hole on a valve-seat setting part. CONSTITUTION:An abrasive feeding hole 14 is formed to feed abrasive onto the setting surfaces 12 and 13 of a valve (a1) and a valve seat (b1), and the supply of abrasive can be controlled by a spindle 15. The mixture of heat-resistive silicone oil and emery, etc. is used as abrasive. Therefore, slidable fitting between the valve and the valve seat is permitted, even during engine operation, and blowing-off of combustion gas is prevented, and the combustion efficiency is improved. |
