PURPOSE:To manufacture large numbers of caps for containers, e.g., easy-open bottle, etc., having gas imperviousness, by a method in which the inner cylinder of a tool 10 is fitted on a pull ring 4 and positioned at the approx. center of the cap 6 by the end face 7 of the cylinder 8. CONSTITUTION:A synthetic resin cover 6 for a container, having an endless split groove 2 on its mouth wall 1, a fitting portion 3 on its inside, a pull ring 4 in the fitting portion 3, and a leg 5, is formed. Also, a tool 10 consisting of an inner cylinder 8 having a smaller diameter than the diameter of the pull ring 4 and also having an end face 7 on its tip an outer cylinder 9 formed almost concentrically with the outside of the inner cylinder 8 is formed. The cap 6 of the container is attached by fitting the pull ring 4 into the inner cylinder 8, the outside of the pull ring 4 is supported by the outer cylinder 9, and a metal foil 11 is placed on the mouth wall 1 and molded by a presser part 12 by applying heat, high frequency, or supersonic wave from the upside of the metal foil 11. |
