CT APPARATUS FOR MEASURING LOCAL BLOOD STREAM IN BRAIN

PURPOSE:To measure a local blood stream in a brain with ease and at a high accuracy by reconstructing an image containing a tomographic image of an object to be inspected and a tomographic image of an exhaling tube to measure the local blood stream based on the image data. CONSTITUTION:While an exhalation containing a tracer which is once absorbed by an object 2 to be inspected and discharged is passed through an exhaling tube 19, the tube is arranged in a tomographic photography area crossing a sliced surface of the object 2. A data outputted from a detector in a gantory 5 is collected with a data collector 6. An image reconstructor 7 reconstructs an image containing a tomograhic image of the object 2 being inspected and a tomographic image of the exhaling tube 19. An image analyzer 8 measures a local blood stream in a brain based on an image data outputted from the image reconstructor 7. The tomographic image of the object 2 being inspected and the tomographic image of the exhaling tube 19 are indicated on an image display unit 9.
