PURPOSE:To enable to simplify the construction of a printer, by a method wherein the second disk and the third disk are rotated by the same rotating angle by the first disk driven by a motor, and a printing head is fitted to a connecting rod for connecting the second and third disks to each other. CONSTITUTION:When the first disk C is rotated by starting the motor 1, the second and third disks B, A are rotated in opposite directions by the same rotating angle, whereby the connecting rod Z connecting the disks B, A in an eccentric manner is brought into an inclining motion, and a printing nozzle Q provided at the tip of the rod Z is brought into a rectilinear motion in a transverse direction with respect to a printing paper R. Simultaneously, an ink-jetting pump J fitted to the rod Z is driven by a controller E in accordance with a desired character pattern, while the printing paper R is fed in accordance with the movement of the nozzle Q, and an ink is jetted from the nozzle Q onto the paper R, thereby printing. Accordingly, printing can be performed without converting the rotation of the motor into a rectilinear motion, and the printer can be simplified in construction and made to be compact. |
