PURPOSE:A fine particle preparation for agricultural purpose that is obtained by coating a particle carrier of a mineral not absorbing oil with a fine powder of the carrier using a water-soluble binder and impregnating the coated particles with a liquid agricultural component, thus holding the component uniformly with high stability with passage of time. CONSTITUTION:A mineral not absorbing oil such as silica, pyrophyllite, calcite, talc or olivene is crushed and classified. The particles of 40-200 microns are coated with the same powder of less than 10 micron particle sizes by spraying a slurry of the powder containing 0.1-5%, based on the powder, of a water-soluble binder and dried to give the particle base of 62-210 micron particle sizes and 130-160 microns on the average. The resultant particle base is stirred and an agricultural component is added dropwise to effect impregnation to give the objective particle preparation F. The variation in coating thickness enables the control of the agricultural component to be impregnated without adverse effect on the fluidity on application and pesticidal effect.
