PURPOSE:To enhance resolution, by attaching sliders to at least two of two or more rotary shafts, which are connected through a rotation transmitting medium, and contacting the sliders with angle detecting elements. CONSTITUTION:A first angle detecting element 31 and a second angle detecting element 32 are made to be a unitary body. A slider 34, which makes the first angle detecting element 31 to slide, is fixed to an angle setting shaft 33, and further connected to a second shaft 36 by way of a rotation transmitting medium 35. A slider 37, which makes the second angle detecting element 32 to slide, is provided on the second shaft 36. The angle detecting elements 31 and 32 are fixed to attaching terminal plates 38. Signal lines 39 are taken out of the plates and connected to input ports 41 of a microcomputer 40. One rotation of the first angle detecting element is equally divided into 100 parts. The set angle output of the second shaft 36 is obtained as the angle of the second angle detecting element 31 with the resolution of 1/100.
