<p>PURPOSE:To make a sharp improvement in a range of fuel consumption, by keeping a throttle valve constant at the specified opening when an accelerator pedalling extent is within the specified range. CONSTITUTION:In this control device, a transmission ratio adjuster 18, a throttle actuator 36 and an accelerator position sensor 9 are installed altogether, while a throttle valve 3 is kept constant at the specified opening regardless of an accelerator pedalling extent when this pedalling extent is within the specified range and simultaneously a transmission gear ratio is adjusted according to the accelerator pedalling extent. With this constitution, pumping loss in the output of an engine is reduced and fuel atomization can be made yet better so that a rate of fuel consumption can be sharply improved.</p> |
