Peptide analogues with formula (I), in which X and W are terminal groups which may contain other aminoacyl groups, Y, where it occurs, is glycine, phenylalanine or another lipophilic amino acid residue; Z is glycine, N-methyl- alanine, valine, proline or a ring homologue of proline; A is a "hydroxy", "reduced" or preferably "keto" dipeptide analogue residue, the first residue of which is either arginine or has a terminal amidino group of arginine in the side chain and the other is glycine, alanine or a corresponding residue with possibly a hydroxyterminal hydrocarbon side chain; Arg or Pro and Arg, where they occur, may possibly be substituted; and B, where it occurs, is valine, proline or a group -NH-(CH2)n-CO- (n = 0-5) or with W denotes an amino alcohol; and in which the terminal groups may possibly be bound to a cyclic structure. <IMAGE> |
