PURPOSE:To reset automatically to a monitoring mode when a processing by a selected mode has been completed by providing a mode selecting means for selecting one specified mode out of plural function modes. CONSTITUTION:Mode selecting keys M1, M2, M3, M4 and M5 for selecting an operating mode are provided on the left upper side of a keyboad 2 used for a home controller. The keys M1, M2, M3, M4 and M5 select a monitoring mode, a cooking mode, a television broadcasting program mode, a trimer reserving mode, and other application mode, respectively. The fundamental operating mode is the monitoring mode, and displays a data and a day of a week of that day, a present time, an indoor temperature and an outdoor temperature, a timer setting state, etc. When shifting the monitoring mode to the cooking mode, for instance, the operating mode of an electronic range is obtained by operating the cooking mode key M2. |
