PURPOSE:To form easily a diaphragm having a complicated shape and adjust freely the weight and the thickness by forming temporarily a nonwoven cloth consisting of high-elasticity fiber with heat press and coating a thermosetting resin to this nonwoven cloth and hardening the resin with heat press to form it. CONSTITUTION:The high-elasticity fibers such as carbon fiber or the like (>=5.0X10<10>/m<3> Young's modulus E) is manufactured to sheets having the randomized orientation of the fibre. In case of the production for the cone diaphragm of a speaker, the circular nonwoven cloth pieces 1,2,3, and 4 are cutout from the nonwoven cloth. These nonwoven cloth pieces 1-4 are subjected to press molding by heating with a mold 5a and 5b to form temporarily. Next, the nonwoven cloth pieces 1 and 2 are laminated on a conical receiving base 6 so that the fiber is oriented vertically to each other approximately. An epoxy resin 7 to which a foaming agent is added is coated to one face of the cloth piece 2 uniformly while controlling its weight. Next, the cloth pieces 3 and 4 are laminated on the cloth piece 2 so that fiber is oriented vertically to each other. Cloth pieces 1-4 are subjected to press molding by heating with the mold 9a and 9b, and the resin 7 is allowed to penetrate the whole of nonwoven cloth pieces 1-4 and is hardened. |
