<p>PURPOSE:To have automated and smooth sheet feeding by furnishing a feed device, in which a separator roll is separated from the sheet by means of tension, in case the platen of applicable business machine rotates in regular direction, and the roller comes close to the sheet in case in reverse direction so as to perform sheet feeding. CONSTITUTION:A motor 16 incorporated in a copying machine 11 is started to rotate a platen 13 reversely, and the torque of a platen gear 20 is transmitted a follower gear 27, and now timing pulleys 30a 35a, 29a are rotated clockwise to transmit the torque to cranks 46a, 46b. The rotation is transmitted to a timing pulley 35b through an endless belt 36b. Revolutions of cranks 46a, 46b are transmitted to levers 32a, 32b to cause rotation in the direction toward stoppers 39a, 39b. Then a separator roller 34 is put in contact with the surface of the sheet 57, and its rotation causes taking-out of a single sheet, which is fed to between the platen 13 and a pinch roller 14. Thus the timing belt acts on both sides of separator roller to allow smooth paper feeding through equalization of the contact, and reverse rotation of the platen provides automated paper feeding.</p> |
