PURPOSE:To automatically pile up an assigned number of articles or boxes for articles and to automatically pile up assembled or secondary machined boxes by adopting an elevating table capable of freely elevating vertically and freely moving horizontally. CONSTITUTION:Every time an article carrier 21 brings a carrying box 53 or a tub 54, an elevating table 7 is lowered for one pitch corresponding to one box or one tub to pile up an assigned number of carrying boxes or tubs. In case of assembling boxes or tubs in some way or secondary machining same, the elevating table 7 is first retreated to the right side of an elevator strut 9, and then an expansion arm 21c of the article carrier 21 is expanded to lower the box 53 or tub 54 up to an assembly table 24, so that the box or tub is subjected to a required process. Subsequently, the box 53 or tub 54 is pulled up, and the elevating table is moved to the left to pile up the boxes 53 or tubs 54. |
