PURPOSE:To improve the maintainability by generating scan-in data to input it to a circuit to be diagnosed and comparing and deciding data outputted from a diagnostic detecting part to diagnose automatically and efficiently a large-sized device. CONSTITUTION:A control part 10 performs diagnosis and processings of diagnostic data in accordance with a control program stored in a storage part 11. A scan-in part 17 impresses address data and write data, which are transferred and controlled by the control part 10, to a circuit 21 to be diagnosed in accordance with the indication timing of a starting part 16. A diagnostic detecting part 22 obtains data concerning the automatic maintenance operation from the circuit 21 to be diagnosed and sends this data to a diagnostic deciding part 18 to compare this data with data from the scan-in part 17 in every one step of the scan-in operation. The result is displayed on a display device 14 through an input/output port 13. Each time it is displayed, the starting part 16 indicates the next scan-in. Thus, the large-sized device is diagnosed automatically and efficiently to improve the maintainability. |
