PURPOSE:To provide stable alignment quality, by a method wherein a specified force is exerted on sheets at a contact point between an elastic guide body and a bottom plate. CONSTITUTION:The forward end of a sheet, charged through a discharge end 10 of a conveyance passage, passes through a slanted passage, and the forward end is brought into elastic contact with a bottom plate 12. An elastic guide body 11 for guiding sheets is mounted, the bottom plate 12 is inclined approximately parallel to a direction, in which the sheets are conveyed, and is energized vertically upward through the elastic force of a spring 13, and the bottom plate 12 is lowered vertically downward under gravity of the accumulated sheets against the force of the spring 13. This permits provision of stable alignment quality and enables the sheets to be accumulated in a small quantity and frequently. |
