PURPOSE:To install easily a developing device to a copying device provided on the upper part of a body, and also to reduce remarkably a replacement of a vessel by holding horizontally a toner vessel having a spiral rib on the inside surface, and rotating it around its shaft. CONSTITUTION:A toner cartridge 6 is placed on a holding plate 52, pushed up into a receiver 45 by a spring 48, rotated by 90 deg. clockwise, held horizontally, and an opening 46 of the receiver 45 is made to conform with a toner inflow port 42 by turning the cartridge 6, and a toner supply state is obtained. When a development is repeated and the cartridge 6 is rotated gradually by a signal of a toner density drop in a developing device 2, a toner is fed out gradually to a port part 61 by a spiral rib 62 of the inside surface. Accordingly, since the toner is replenished by rotating the horizontally held vessel 6, the developing device can be attached easily to a small-sized copying device provided on the upper part of the body, and a toner containing capacity can be increased, therefore, frequency of a replacement of the vessel can also be reduced. |
