The invention relates to a device for drawing plastic film between two rotating rollers, an upstream roller and a downstream roller taking into account the direction in which the film progresses, the upstream roller being driven by means of the film itself by the rotating load. According to the invention, the upstream roller 2 imparts its movement to the downstream roller 3, an intermediate movement-transmitting means 1 being provided between the two rollers in order for the rotation speed of the downstream roller 3 to be always be less than the speed of the upstream roller 2 so that the film is drawn between the two rotating rollers. This device applies especially to machines for packaging a load with the aid of a plastic film wrapped around the load. <IMAGE>
