PURPOSE:To simplify the program of an address retrieving device, by storing address element data in the order of input through data sectioning codes and comparing the address element data with retrieving key address element data designated at the time of retrieval. CONSTITUTION:Data comparison performed at the n28 and n37 of the flow chart is made to address element data divided by adjacent data sectioning codes and retrieving key address element data set in the area of an RAM13. When the i-th block Qi is called from a disk at the n26 or n27, the address element data A1 positioned to the leading address of the block are first compared with the retrieving key address element data and then the 2nd line data A2 are compared with the retrieving key address element data. After the 2nd line data A2, next data A3 divided by the data sectioning code are compared. Thus data are successively compared with the retrieving key address element data and, when coincident address element data are found, the block is regarded as the aimed block and stored in the area of the RAM13. |
