PURPOSE:To provide a titled device which provides a remote or automatic operation in breaking the gate of a casting by changing over the pressure before and behind the valve plug in a valve chamber to turn on and off the pressurized air thereby projecting or retreating a weight in breaking the gate of the casting. CONSTITUTION:A selector valve 23 is pressed to exert an air pressure in a central chamber 7b and to open a left end chamber 7c, then a valve plug 4 moves leftward against a spring 13 to open an air feed port 10, thereby projecting and advancing a weight 2. The air between the hollow cylindrical parts 2b and 3a of the weight is discharged through an air feeding and evacuating port 20 and the chamber 7c from the valve 23. When the valve 23 is returned, the air pressure is exerted on the chamber 7c which moves rightward the plug 4 to close the port 10 and at the same time to exert the air pressure in the chamber between the parts 2b and 3a, thereby retreating the weight 2. The air in the chamber behind the weight 2 escapes partly through a hole 13 and the remaining air relieves the retreating shock of the weight 2. It is possible to make the above- mentioned operation remote or automatic. |
