PURPOSE:To provide the titled compsn. which gives a film having excellent transparency, eveness, smoothness, etc., by incorporating specified quantities of an internal particle contg. an element selected from among Ca, Mg, etc., a fine inert particle and a higher fatty acid compd. in a polyester. CONSTITUTION:0.001-1pt.wt. internal particle contg. an element selected from among Ca, Mg, Mn and Li, 0.001-1pt.wt. inert particle having an average particle size of 0.1-3mu (e.g. calcium carbonate or silicon oxide) and 0.005-2pts.wt. (partial) metal salt of an 18-33C higher aliph. monocarboxylic acid (e.g. stearic or oleic acid) and/or 0.005-2pts.wt. C18-C33 higher aliph. amide (e.g. stearamide) are incorporated in 100pts.wt. polyester wherein the main repeating unit is composed of ethylene terephthalate units, to obtain the desired polyester compsn.
