PURPOSE:To make it possible to effect surface glossy finish and hardening of a resin material which must have remarkable weather resistance, by forming a hardened film on the surface of a resin material formed from a resin containing a radical scavenger. CONSTITUTION:A hardened film is formed on the surface of a material made of a radical scavenger-containing resin to harden the surface of the resin material. The amount of the radical scavenger added is 0.1-5.0wt% based on the weight of the resin. If it is larger than 5wt%, no effectiveness corresponding to this amount can be obtained, the cost is increased, and the properties of the resin are lowered. On the other hand, when it is lower than 0.1wt%, no effectiveness of addition can be obtained. When adhesion of the cured film to the resin material is not good, a primer is applied to the surface of the resin material and a surface hardener is applied thereto.
