A protective device for reception of a vehicle tyre when pumping air into the tyre and similar work comprising a suspended surface (13) for one side of the wheel (12) as well as a number of elongated flexible fastening devices (28), which are centrally connected at one end to the wheel's other side and whose other end can be connected with the suspended surface (13) for holding the wheel (12). So that the wheel is not cast up from the foundation (14) in the event of a tyre explosion the suspended surface is designed in order to absorb energy as well as set up with free space under the foundation (14).<IMAGE> |
