PURPOSE:To reduce the dirt of an optical window or the deterioration of the cathode by providing a heating type getter in the neighborhood of the anode of a laser tube, in the titled device equipped with the laser tube, a laser resonator mirror and a laser power source. CONSTITUTION:The laser tube 1 discharges between the anode 5 and the cathode 7, laser-oscillates by a photo oscillator composed of an output mirror 3 and a total reflection mirror 4, and outputs a laser light 10. The heating type getter 9 is provided in the neighborhood of the anode 5, and the anode 5 is heated to approx. 900 deg.C by the discharge between the anode 5 and the cathode 7, thus heating the getter 9 by radiated heat, resulting in operation. Impure gas concentrated in the neighborhood of the anode is absorbed to the getter 9 by the discharge between the anode 5 and the cathode 7, and accordingly the deterioration of the group 6 of graphite disks or that of the cathode 7 is prevented. Therefore, the titled device of output power stable for a long time can be produced without the dirt of the optical windows 2 and 2' and with less deterioration of the cathode 7. |
