PURPOSE:To obtain a pressure-welded product having no deformation and flaw with high accuracy in a device provided with a slide cylinder for single working which attaches simultaneously, by pressure welding, work pieces to both ends of an intermediate work piece by using a stationary head as a stopper in fixing the intermediate work piece. CONSTITUTION:A work piece 11A is held in a chuck 24 of a slide head 22 and an intermediate work piece 11B is held in a clamp 14. A work piece 11C is further held in a chuck 36 of a stationary head 34. The pieces 11A, 11C are rotated by driving motors 18, 32 for main shafts of the heads 22, 34 and the clamp 14 is moved to the head 34 side by a cylinder 38 to press one end of the piece 11B to the piece 11C. The head 22 is at the same time moved to the head 34 side by a slide cylinder 20 for pressing to press the piece 11A to the other end of the piece 11B. The pieces 11A, 11C are under rotation in this stage and the piece 11B is held by the clamp 14 in such a way that the sliding resistance is made zero in the thrust direction of the pressure welding. The pressing force of the cylinder 20 acting on the head 22 is exerted uniformly on the respective pressure welding surfaces of the respective work pieces, by which the same press welding condition is realized. |
