The subject of the invention relates mainly to the technical field of hand tools. The handle is noteworthy in that the part constituting the actual handle or body P1 is substantially thicker and wider than known handles, the lower end of the body P1 being connected to the attachment part P2 whose thickness is very substantially smaller than the handle body, the blade L being incorporated in the said attachment part during moulding or injection, the handle body P1 being hollowed out internally and lightened by being moulded or injected from plastic in a mould M around a lightweight internal core 1 which is positioned in the mould and which remains incorporated with the handle.
